Jim Ryan is a senior loan officer at Mid-Island Mortgage Corp, in the company’s Fairfax, VA, office with more than 20 years of mortgage loan origination experience. He is licensed in both Virginia and Maryland.

Jim comes from a military family. He was an “army brat,” residing at many U.S. Army posts throughout the United States and Europe. He understands the unique issues facing both active duty and Veteran borrowers and respects and honors their service to our country.

Jim began his career with Reynolds Metals Company, Solar Energy Division, where he became one of the company’s top five nationwide solar energy sales people. When Reynolds ended its solar energy division, Jim attended George Mason University, receiving his bachelor of science degree in economics with high honors. Jim also attended Georgetown University’s Fund for American Studies (Bryce Harlow Institute for Business and Government Affairs) and was awarded the Wall Street Journal Award for Economics in 1996.
